Que le temps nous porte

After ten years on stage and nearly a hundred concerts in Belgium and abroad, Iguazú Quintet returns with a brand-new album to celebrate these years of music, encounters, and experimentation.

Que le temps nous porte is a deeply personal, intimate, and vibrant album, featuring works written by members of the quintet as well as compositions dedicated to the ensemble by various Belgian, French, and Argentinian composers.

The album explores music inspired by South America while blurring the boundaries between art music and popular music, freely drawing on the languages and tools of jazz, world music, and chamber music to weave a complex, unique discourse that truly exists between two worlds.

Among the guest composers, you will find Belgian pianist and accordionist Jimmy Bonesso, French guitarist Samuel Strouk, Argentinian guitarist Tomás Gubitsch, and Argentinian pianist Pablo Murgier.

Iguazú Quintet is part of the Arts et Vie catalogue of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Tara number: 2749-1
